September 2nd - Koanga Festival

Congratulations to the Macleans Kapa Haka group for their fantastic performance at the Koanga Festival. Hosted by Somerville Intermediate, the festival was an opportunity for Kapa Hanga groups from schools in the local area to showcase the hard work they put into rehearsing their routines.

August 25th Macleans Transforms Trash into Fashion

Macleans Primary's PP2 sharing week culminated in all three teams displaying their creativity in recycling objects into wearable artforms.

• Waiheke team produced musical instruments.
• Rangitoto team produced items that related to their science unit of 'Simple Machines'.
• Kawau team students worked in teams of four to design their own wearable costume.

August 3rd - A Crossing Zebra on our Zebra Crossing

A crossing zebra visited Macleans Primary to promote road safety.  Miss C welcomes the zebra to our school and then pays Mr Bayly a visit.
