11 April 2018- Cultural Festival
Our Year 3-6 dancers did a fantastic job at the Cultural Festival. They performed a Sri Lankan tradition folk dance called "Lee Kelly", which means "Stick Dance". It is performed by Sri Lankan villagers in their paddy fields after harvesting.
Thank you to our parent volunteers Ms Rathnayaka, Mrs Herath and Mrs Steele (ESOL teacher) for your time and effort in preparing our dancers.

Term 1 2018- Special Visitors in Room 2
Room 2 had two special visitors in Term One. Mackenzie from Room 2 and Miss Norton invited Mackenzie's Mum and Golden Retriever Bella to come and visit.
Mackenzie told Room 2 information about Bella whose full name is NZ CH Kavandale Rumour Has It. Before she came to visit us, Bella won Best Veteran In Show at the Golden Retriever Club Inc. Championship Show 2018.
Room 2 was able to practise the skills they learned from the 'Kids Safe With Dogs Charitable Trust' visit on Bella. She was very patient!
